UC Berkeley student walkout. I was on campus (with a mic) today on Sproul Plaza for a massive rally, where the economic trials of students, workers, and teachers in the UC system (as well as California’s public schools) was the focus. It was quite a thing to see - I’m told there were thousands participating. Here is 10 mins of tape from the speeches I heard, prepared for KPFA.
